Your Experiences with
Gettysburg Ghosts
I have never had a personal experience with the Gettysburg ghosts, but I invite you to share your own ghostly tales here.
They can be spooky, scary, sad, or sweet. Both real stories and fictional ones with a disclosure at the end are welcome.
Rules:
- Spelling counts. I will not approve sloppy stories.
- Be honest. Don’t copy someone else’s stories. If you want to write a fictional story, please reveal at the end that you made it up.
- Mention a location in Gettysburg. After all, that’s the topic of this website!
Please note that I will approve your stories before they appear here and I may edit them as needed.
Get in the Spirit
You can read and rate the stories other website visitors have written and shared to take your own little virtual ghost tour or you can meet some ghosts on a real tour the next time you visit Gettysburg.
This town has many Civil War ghost stories. Some of the most famous haunted houses and battlefields are described in the Ghosts of Gettysburg series and other books.
Please remember that those stories are copyrighted. You are welcome to share your own ghost stories, whether made-up or based on your own experiences or those of a close friend. You can even add a photo!
