The Boy from Maryland

It was me, my mom, her boyfriend, and his daughter. We had taken a trip to Gettysburg and went on the ghost tours (it’s a tradtion we do every time we go to Gettysburg witch is offten). We took the tour that goes behind the Gettysburg school and ends at the Farnswarth House, nothing really exciting but after the tour we decided to go back behind the school right beside the park.
My mother pulled out dousing rods (rods used to contact ghosts) and started asking questions. On the one question, “Were you a soldier?”, we got a reponse. I was shocked. We started asking more questions trying to find out who he was. We found out that the person was a 15 year old boy who was from southern Maryland and died in battle, and we also found out that he was engaged, and when you looked at our shadows (which were cast by a nearby street light) there was a fifth shadow. I was so excited and not only that, but when we said goodbye to the spirt the fifth shadow disappeared.
It was one of the coolest things that ever happened to me… until I tell you the next story…
