Blue Soldier

We went on the Ghosts of Gettysburg tour. All that I can remember is that we got to the end of the tour, and we were standing across the street from Lee’s headquarters. The group was facing a large corn field that was divided with a road and met a wooded area. As the tour guide was finishing the tour I noticed this blue light coming from the wooded area. It was dark at the time which made it very easy to see. I continued to watch the blue light and noticed that it was coming across the field towards the group. As the image came closer it appeared to be a soldier on a horse. The image came about half-way across the corn field and stopped. While I was standing with the group I started to think that maybe I was just seeing things and wanted to see a ghost before the end of the tour.
I looked around to the other people in my tour group and noticed another gentleman looking at the same thing I was. My aunt, uncle, and cousin were standing next to me and I turned to them to see if they could see what I was seeing. My aunt and uncle were seeing the same blue light as I and agreed that it looked like an image of a soldier. Not long after, a car came down the road that divided the corn field and the blue image went back into the wooded area.
Following the tour, we talked to our tour guide and explained the image that we noticed. She said that it was a good possibility that it was a spirit of some kind. My cousin could not see the image, but found out that since he is color blind he would have difficulty seeing the blue image (of course, he is also the only one of us who doesn’t believe in ghosts!). Ever since the night of my ghost tour in Gettysburg, I truly believe that there are spirits that roam the grounds of the battlefield.
