Gettysburg 2nd US Cavalry

I was visiting my sister in Northern Virginia when we planned a trip to Gettysburg for us. I was pleasantly surprised to see there was going to be a cavalry reenactment while we were there.

It was very fun and educational to watch and after the presentation the audience were able to take pictures and ask questions of the soldiers. I was very pleased to take this shot during that time. I don’t know the name of this solider, but I believe he represents the spirit of the cavalry and men and women who fought and served in the Civil War.
