Ladies of the Civil War Period never wore hair down. Young ladies yes but not mothers and so on. This stage for your Photo was very nice otherwise. I was an active participant in Re-enacting for Ten Years. Very strict about hair during, hair pulled back, nice bun would made this a more original setting.
