Gettysburg Family Restaurant

My friends and I dined here two days in a row. We were visiting for a ski weekend and were recommended by the hotel to visit this restaurant. The service was great and you cannot beat the price. (Most breakfast items come with coffee/tea and still have an incredibly low price!) The second day there was no question as to where to dine for breakfast – all FIVE of us unanimously chose the Gettysburg Family Restaurant. The atmosphere is fairly standard for a family-type restaurant like this.

We found Gettysburg Family Restaurant quite by accident but are glad we did. A few years ago we were staying at a hotel at Presidential Circle and passed the plaza that this restaurant is in. We thought we would give it a try for breakfast rather than looking for a chain type place. We were greeted at the door with a friendly welcome and the friendliness was carried on by our server. Menu was filled with “down home” items. The food was great, the prices very resonable and the staff friendly. Each year when we come back to Gettysburg we always eat breakfast here. We haven’t tried any meal other than breakfast but maybe this year we will.
