1 Alaska Children's Choir Lincoln Bicentennial Concert Tour presents Civil War songs as well as sacred and secular music in different languages in the park Visitor Center lobby at 4:30. Free admission.
1 2nd Annual "God and Country" presentations feature patriotic hymns and portions of historical speeches and documents to remind us of the heritage of faith and godly foundations of our nation, 7pm each evening at the U.S. Christian Commission Museum.
1-3 146th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg at Gettysburg National Military Park. Free series of battle walks and special, short real time programs conducted by National Park Service Rangers in chronological order as the events happened. Stop by the Visitor Center for a complete schedule.

15 Lincoln in 3D: A Transformational Evening in the Majestic Theater at 7:30pm. Wearing 3-D glasses, you'll feel as if you can literally step into the tableaus of many of the most famous photographs of Lincoln and the Civil War by Gardner, Brady and others as the images are projected on the large screen of the Majestic Theater in their original stereoscopic format. followed by a lecture by noted historian, acclaimed author, and Harvard University President Dr. Drew Gilpin Faust. 18 A Night at the Ball -- Civil War Dance Instruction with the Susquehanna Travelers and the Victorian Dance Ensemble, the performing troupe of the Civil War Dance Foundation. Learn steps to many popular Civil War-era dances as well as some of the etiquette of the day. Enjoy period refreshments with the evening's interactive dance. Wear your dancing shoes (flat shoes are recommended) and period clothing, or come dressed for an evening out (gentlemen in suits and ties and dresses for ladies). The tour includes a half-hour lecture on landscape photography (beginning at the Ford Motor Company Fund Education Center in the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum and Visitor Center) followed by a 2 1/2 hour intimate sunset tour of the battlefield. Stop at some of Chris' favorite spots and learn hints and tips on composition, lighting, aperture and exposure. Open to all photographers at all levels (under age 18 accompanied by an adult). 20 America's 9/11 Ride, the largest fully-dressed police escorted ride to all three September 11 sites will pass through Gettysburg. Come out to honor the heroes, volunteers and victims of 9-11-01. The Ride will depart from the Battlefield Harley-Davidson Pavilion lot promptly at 1:00pm.
