I created this website to share my love of history and Gettysburg. Therefore, I only accept site sponsorships from high quality establishments that I can personally recommend.
Honestly, a site sponsor must be such a great place or group that I would recommend them anyway and might have already mentioned them somewhere on my website over the years!
Most of the information on this website was written before any sponsorships were accepted and anything displayed in relation to this special relationship will be clearly marked as such.
Sponsors are carefully screened and selected so that the arrangement provides value for everyone involved: your establishment, my website, and the website visitors.

There is a growing interest in the Civil War right now as we celebrate the 150th anniversary.
Terms for Sponsorship
Sponsors must be someone I already respect and who is willing to sponsor me, supporting my website so I can continue to offer a free source of information useful to many tourists, students, and historians.
Sponsors will receive:
- A photo link appearing on all 100+ pages of my website that links to my review.
- My review page about your business, written in my own voice with photos I have personally taken on my visits.
- A link to your website from my review page.
It will be clearly stated throughout the review that you are a site sponsor.
How to Apply
I accept offers for sponsorship through a selective screening process. There are a limited number of slots, so only the best companies and organizations will be selected.
Current internet advertising rates are as follows and subject to change as sponsorship slots are filled and demand increases:
- $150 for 3 months ($50/month)
- $270 for 6 months ($45/month)
- $480 for 12 months ($40/month)
There is a 3 month minimum commitment. If I'm going to take the time to make a review page about you, we need to give it some time to be picked up by the search engines and actually give you your money's worth in value.
If selected, I will send you an email with an estimate of how soon I could put together your review page. I expect payment within 2 weeks of acceptance. The length of your sponsorship will begin on the day your review goes live on my website, and you will be notified when that happens.
If you are not selected for sponsorship, you may still purchase advertising space through Google AdWords and might appear on my site in areas indicated as Google Ads. These are randomly selected with little influence from me, as described in my privacy policy.
